SLOW FASHION Extravaganza

Annual Earth Day & Slow Fashion celebration in conjunction w/Fashion Revolution Week! Eco-shopping, free clothing swap, demos & mini-workshops:

*DENIM EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP (12pm-1:30pm, $25)
Bring in an "old" pair of denim jeans, a jean jacket, ANYTHING denim & learn basic embroidery stitches to relove/recycle it w/vintage or bohochic flowers. Embroidery Kit included. Ages 16+ (NOTE: Youth enrollments are welcome; must be able to hand sew & be accompanied by another adult/registrant). Drop-ins welcome!

*FASHION RESTYLING WORKSHOP (2p-3p, $10)
Learn how to shred your jeans, slash your tees & other edgy techniques to restyle your wardrobe! Bring in a few fave garments or practice on ours. Ages 16+. Drop-ins welcome!

Share/donate a handful of your gently-used garments & swap w/your eco-minded community (men's, women's children's clothing & accessories).

MOTH & RUST DESIGNS (1pm-4pm)
Welcome back Moth and Rust textiles & clothing! Leanne will demo the "life cycle" of a garment - from spinning a loom, to knitting, textile design, then sewing & finishing. More surprises tba.
